Why We Exist

Children in East Africa
Are Being Left Behind

When the government restricted fishing on Lake Victoria, entire communities collapsed overnight. Families who had survived for generations lost their only livelihood. Unable to provide, some parents disappeared. Others were taken by illness. Children were left alone.

Today, HIV, poverty, and abandonment continue to orphan children across East Africa. They have no clean water, no electricity, and no safe place to sleep. They are forgotten unless someone chooses to remember them.

"I was that child. I know what it means to be forgotten. I walked 10 kilometres to school on one meal a day. That is why I came back so no child on this island has to face that alone."

Who We Are

Born From Personal Pain.
Built on Faith.

Dove Love Charity Organization is a grassroots nonprofit based in Uganda, East Africa. We exist to ensure that no child is left without love, education, or a safe place to rest.

"We don't just provide for children. We give them back their dignity and their future."

We care for over 50 children at our sanctuary, have supported more than 200 others with school fees and materials, and provide monthly food packages to over 30 elderly people in our community.

What We Do

Caring for the Whole Child

From daily meals to spiritual mentorship, our programs nurture every part of a child's life.

Feeding Program

Two meals a day. Sometimes three. Always with love. We also provide monthly food packages to elderly members of our community.

Education Support

From nursery to Primary 5 — we run classes in our own structures and pay school fees for children attending other schools.

Faith & Mentorship

Growing minds, hearts, and futures rooted in faith. Our children are guided spiritually and emotionally every step of the way.

Emergency Care

A safe place for children with nowhere else to turn. We offer shelter, clothing, and warmth to those fleeing abuse or abandonment.
